PART 1 (DOUBLE EXPOSURE FOLLOW TUTORIAL：

The theme of this week's homework is double exposure. We practiced step by step according to the reference materials provided by the professor and completed the relevant creation according to the steps he explained.

We used the function of creating clipping masks to merge multiple images, and added layer masks to outline local contours, making the overall picture more natural and harmonious.

After adding the material, we first used the "Levels" tool to adjust the overall brightness and contrast, and then applied "Gradient Map" to give color to the black and white grayscale image, thereby enhancing the layering and visual expression of the picture.

After completing the previous exercise, we needed to make our own double exposure effect, so I searched Pinterest for the materials I needed to realize my sketch.

PROJECT 2B: POSTER DESIGN :

The professor introduced us to the basics of photography and explained the relevant content of the HONOR competition. The task of this project is to design a theme poster around the theme of the competition.

I chose the theme of "City Inspiration: Beauty - The Scenery of Hometown". When I saw this theme, I thought of China's beautiful mountains and rivers and scenery.

Title: Future Awakening

Summary of your design concept: The work uses the data flow in cyberspace, the sea of ​​city lights and the energy halo as the core visual elements, symbolizing the information interconnection of the future society and the order and infinite possibilities in the intelligent environment. Adding a ring structure implies the cycle and evolution of technology, and there will be more design space. Bright electro-optical colors can be contrasted with cold neon to represent the fusion of scientific rationality and human emotions.

Title: Future Awakening

Summary：The work is based on the cyberspace of the future city. The core uses luminous circles, extended lines and urban light tracks to build a sense of spatial extension, expressing the theme of information flow and the awakening of future civilization. The contrast between cold blue and purple and highly saturated electro-optical colors enhances the sense of the future and visual impact, while keeping the interface clean and ensuring that the wallpaper does not affect readability when used on the lock screen and main screen. 

The overall work hopes that users will be inspired by the imagination and technological aesthetics of the future when unlocking their phones every day, and resonate and think that "technology is the future, and the future is the present."

Reflection：

1. double exposure：

Double exposure is a creative and expressive photography technique that can give images a dreamy, hazy, and even mysterious atmosphere. Through layer superposition and clever fusion, ordinary photos can also be transformed into works of art with a sense of story and emotional tension. For me, this is not only a technical challenge, but also a way of emotional expression.

In this project, I tried to convey a deeper theme and atmosphere through image fusion. Every detail adjustment - whether it is contrast, transparency, or the position and alignment of layers - will affect the overall effect of the picture. Therefore, I gradually realized the importance of patience and precision in design.

2. Poster Design：

For this project, I chose a future technology direction. I tried to process my own photographic images into line drawings and integrate backgrounds, portraits and other elements through Photoshop techniques to create a unified and visually impactful picture. In terms of composition and color, I referred to a lot of excellent works in design competitions, and learned composition logic and layer rhythm from many classic posters.

During the production process, I kept experimenting, modifying, and even overturning the original design several times to start over. Although the process was repetitive and tedious, it was these attempts that allowed me to have a deeper understanding of the logic of image integration and gradually find an aesthetic style suitable for my own expression.

The final product made me feel satisfied and made me realize that a mature work not only requires artistic intuition, but also relies on solid software operation and keen visual analysis ability. This is a rare creative experience, and it also makes me full of confidence and expectations for future design challenges.
